Nocturne Chapter 1Chapter 1: Mid-winter's eve and the Black Horizon

It was the night of mid-winters eve. The sky was frosted over as snow descended from the heavens. An icy wind blew across the plains, into the great white pillars of Mias. The moon lurked about the clouds, occasionally glaring down upon the world below.

The great white city overlooked the frozen lands. Many villages and towns lay on its plains, one of which, Arbre. A warm glow emanated from the many houses that circled around the pine trees. People ran about, finishing off the last of their chores and getting ready for the main event.

Lumos - June 2009 Calender Piece

Cs3 - 208 Layers - 6 Hours - 4000 x 3000 Orig Res 450 Dpi

Lumos is probably the most detailed piece I have EVER done up to this point. 6 Hours, I was dead serious, funny thing is I used an old pic of myself in the corner right above my name on the bottom plate. Some may know my birthday is in June, most of the reason I took so much extra time on it.

Nice work!!

Uhm i think thou, that there should be some light dropping onto the fence? so, the fence should have an highlighted edge, that would give the fence some 3D feel and i think it belongs there as it is in the line of light?

Made it my wallpaper.
I like it for the power, colors and esp the pov.
A creative use of land and space that is not seen as much as it should be.
